Funky Espresso

Funky Espresso is our seasonal blend dedicated to the brighter, fruitier side of specialty coffee. Each edition is a new tracklist, bringing together origins that harmonise and surprise, always with a focus on vibrancy and character.

This season, the star of Side A is Uganda’s Muki Fruity, a naturally processed coffee grown high in the Sironko District. Bursting with tropical fruit and a boozy depth, it leaps out of the cup—a testament to the care and innovation behind the Coffee Yard project.

On Side B, we’ve paired it with a washed Caturra from Nariño, Colombia, produced in partnership with the same farmers we’ve proudly worked alongside for years. This lot brings juicy red-fruit acidity and a crisp, clean finish—the perfect counterbalance to Uganda’s lush intensity.

Together, they create a blend that’s playful yet precise, layered yet approachable. Expect cherry liqueur, ripe mango and caramel sweetness—a coffee made for anyone looking to turn up the dial on flavour and taste something a little unexpected.
